The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) is the state agency that licenses and regulates real estate brokers, sales agents, inspectors, and related professionals in Texas. State law requires every license holder to make this notice available to consumers.

Anyone — including clients, customers, or other license holders — may file a signed, written complaint against a real estate license holder alleging a violation of the Texas Real Estate License Act or TREC rules, generally within four years of the incident.
